Clarification Text regarding Personal Data Processed in Request and Suggestion Form

This clarification text has been prepared by Akın Yazılım Bilgisayar İthalat İhracat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., which acts in the capacity of the data controller, (Akınsoft) to inform you, within the scope of its activities arising from Article 10 of the Protection of Personal Data Law numbered 6698 (the "KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Clarification Obligation, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR") and the relevant legislation and legal regulations, on the purposes of processing your data, its legal reasons, method of collection, to whom it can be transferred, and your rights under the KVKK.

 

Your name, surname, department, telephone, e-mail, country and province data that you share through the Request and Suggestion Form on our website are processed for the purpose of responding to your suggestions, complaints and requests, and providing you a better service in line with your suggestions, complaints and requests. Furthermore, we do not have absolute control on the information that you share with such form. We kindly recommend you that you shall not share your personal data and personal data of special nature that you do not want us to know, with our company.

Such personal data is processed via automatic means based on the legal reasons stated under Article 5 of the KVKK which are "processing of personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this processing does not violate the fundamental rights and freedom of the relevant person" and that "it is mandatory for the data controller to be able to perform her/his legal obligations", and it shall be shared only with the relevant judicial authorities in legal disputes.

Such personal data is retained for the period of time stipulated in the related legislation; if such a period of time is not stipulated, it is retained for the period of time as long as our legitimate interest continues, taking into account the following criteria:

• Akınsoft's applications

• Applicable commercial practices

• Statute of limitations stipulated in the relevant legislation

At the end of such period of time, personal data retained is erased, destructed or anonymized.

 

You, as the data owner, have the following rights, within the framework of the KVKK and the GDPR:

• You have the right to request a copy of your personal data retained by us,

• If there is any personal data that you think is incorrect, you have the right to request from our company to correct it, and also, if there is any personal data that you think is incomplete, you also have the right to request from our company to complete it,

• You have the right to request from our company to erase or destruct your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law,

• You have the right to request compensation for the damage in case damage occurs due to unlawful processing of your personal data,

 

• If you object to the accuracy of your personal data or if the processing is unlawful but you do not wish to delete it, you have the right to request to impose restriction on the processing of your personal data,

• You have right to withdraw your consent at any time to be effective prospectively (provided that the data processing activities carried out until that date remain legitimate),

• If you believe that we are processing your personal data in violation of the applicable data protection directives, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent regulatory authority, primarily the relevant supervisory regulatory authority in the Member State of your habitual residence if you live in the European Union or at your workplace or where you think the data protection breach has occurred.
